The shopping cart system here at Absolutely Sensational Catering, is designed to be user friendly and very efficient in collecting orders from our customers. 

There are a couple of items to remember when using our ordering system.  First, when you connect to our secure server, the security certificate will read that it is from Globalspace.  This is perfectly normal because they are hosting our web site.  Your ordering information is kept in a password restricted area.  Secondly, When you click on the ADD button to put an item in your shopping cart, NOTHING WILL APPEAR TO HAPPEN.  This is normal so don't keep clicking the button waiting for something to happen.  You can view your shopping cart by clicking the View Basket link to the left.  Finally, the confidential information that you submit to us is for our records and we will NOT sell the information to another company.  We like to treat our customers with respect.

    
THE ADD BUTTON     
This button is normally found on the pages containing wedding cakes.  This button let's you add one of each item to your shopping cart.  For example, let's say you wanted to customize your cake and add silver foil leaves to all 3 tiers of your cake.  You would click the button 3 times.  You can view your shopping cart to make sure that you are adding exactly what you intended.
  
THE QUANTITY BUTTON
This button is found on the customized catering section.  It allows you to add more of one item with a single click.  For example, let's say you wanted to add 50 shrimp cocktails to your shopping cart, you would change the 1 to 50 and hit add.
  
VIEWING YOUR CART

Whenever you wish, you may view your shopping cart by clicking the View Basket link to the left.  This screen (below) will be displayed and show you the items you have in your cart including a subtotal.  To remove an item, click your mouse on the product description and then press the REMOVE button.  You can remove all the items from your shopping cart by pressing the REMOVE ALL button.  Your shopping cart is limited to 20 items for security purposes.  If you need to purchase more items, submit this order and complete a new purchase.

  
SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER
To submit your order, please press the CHECKOUT link to the left and follow the instructions that appear on that screen.  
  
AFTER THE ORDER...
Once you submit your order to us, an electronic receipt is displayed on the screen and one is sent to your email address that you listed on the checkout screen.  We highly encourage you to print your receipt out for your records.  Should you need to inquire about your order, we ask that you refer to the automatic order number on your receipt.
